You have the right to request permanent deletion of your PermitPulse account and all associated personal data. This page explains how.

Option 1 — Delete from the App Fastest

If you still have the PermitPulse app installed:

  1. Open the app and sign in.
  2. Tap the Profile tab (bottom-right).
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  4. Confirm the deletion in the dialog.

Your account, all active watches, and notification history will be deleted immediately. Token transaction records are retained for up to 7 years as required by law, then permanently purged.

Option 2 — Email Request

If you've already uninstalled the app or are unable to sign in, email us from the address associated with your PermitPulse account and we'll process your request within 30 days.

Include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line.

We'll send a confirmation once your data has been deleted.

What gets deleted

  1. Your account record (name, email, token balance)
  2. All active and historical watches
  3. Push notification history
  4. Device push token (FCM token)
  5. AWS SNS endpoint for your device
  6. Your Cognito user account

Token purchase transaction records are retained for up to 7 years for accounting and fraud-prevention purposes, then permanently deleted. These records contain only purchase amounts and timestamps — not payment card information.
